Consider it Done

This Job is in our very own home. It started with a floor seperation noticed in our living room. The floor had dropped 3/4 of an inch off the wall actually sank as you can zoom and see in lower left picture next to radiator. We came to the conclusion it was termite damage and needed to rip out entire floor as a result. Day 1 started to cut up floor and remove in 4x4 squares. Found joists hollowed out by termites and black mold as a result of poor water drainage. Approaching day 2 all rotton molded wood removed from living room. Day 3 began digging out mold filled wet mud that had laid for years and digging trenches to create a french drain running to a  pump. Day 4 Stair work and footing were dug with cement poured to level and support new joists. Day 5 Insulation and plywood installed Day 6 3/4 in plank oak flooring is being installed.  A big thanks to all who helped to get this job done...Ken Owner / Operator, Bob our Employee , Paul , Rick, Ken Jr, Mom, Simone..

The Joists under the stairwell needed to be replaced as well. All trenches had to be dug out and pipes laid under dirt to create a drain system. If water lies under your home it creates Black mold from the moisture.  This is day 3

We are Making Progress All new Joists insulation And plywood are in place, Ready for hardwood floor install. This is day 5
